As of today, the implementation of what was agreed upon in the Non-Paper by French President Macron and German Chancellor Merz will begin to be processed, PM Mickoski said at a briefing with journalists on Monday.
“A new element is the intensified dynamism of the talks with authorized individuals from the cabinets of German Chancellor Merz and French President Macron, which will take place twice a month instead of twice a year, as was the case before”, the PM pointed out.
He added that the possibility of EU enlargement in a package with the Western Balkan countries was not ruled out. At the briefing, Mickoski didn’t rule out the possibility of early parliamentary elections in 2027.
The PM also presented data from three polls. As he explained, according to them, his party, VMRO-DPMNE, enjoys the largest support among citizens, with a rating of 25.2%. According to the data, SDSM has a rating of 8.6%, followed by DUI (8.1%), VLEN (6.8%), Levica (6.2%), and ZNAM (2.3%).
The briefing also saw the PM present about 15 infrastructure projects in the areas of highways, railway reconstruction activities, and hospitals, which, according to the Government’s estimates, would cost around 10 billion euros over the next decade.
