PM Mickoski is surprised by reactions to his decision to call Prosecutor General Saveski to inquire about the Mazut case. He stated that he would continue to call Saveski because that was his job, considering that the Prosecutor had been elected following a nomination by the Government and voted through by Parliamentary Groups representing the ruling coalition.
“Here, I will tell you specifically – I spoke with him and asked him how far along all those cases were, and he told me that he had assigned 80% of the cases that had not been assigned. That means a pre-investigation, there will be an investigation now, that means processes. I don’t see why a fuss was made out of that. That I spoke with the Prosecutor General? I will speak with him in the future as well, that is my job, to ask him what is happening, how things are, and how far along they are”, the PM stressed.
