Mazut Case: VMRO-DPMNE Levels Fierce Criticism at Council of Prosecutors

VMRO-DPMNE has fiercely criticized the Council of Public Prosecutors’ “defense” of Prosecutor Katerina Kolarevikj and Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption Chief Islam Abazi over the decision on the Mazut case.

The same day, regarding the appeal filed by Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM), PM Mickoski stated that he expected the Higher Prosecutor’s Office to correctly consider all facts and decide on the basis of what was contained in the appeal.

According to ESM, its appeal also includes claims that Abazi’s Office incorrectly determined facts because the technical statements by the summoned persons were consciously presented by it as relevant in terms of statements about the absence of financial damage.
