Regarding the Gostivar water contamination issue, Mayor Valbon Limani said on Monday the Municipality was introducing additional measures.
The Crisis Staff has been activated, while a hotline will be opened through which citizens can request assistance and drinking water delivery. Soon, the Crisis Staff will hold a session to adopt recommendations and support measures for the population.
The Director of the Komunalec (Public Utilities) Public Enterprise (PE), Artana Asani, has been suspended, along with several other individuals who, as Limani pointed out, were responsible for the operation of the water supply system.
