Despite the diplomatic incident related to the diplomatic note on PM Mickoski’s family, Foreign Minister Mucunski believes dialogue with Bulgaria has gained increased momentum, taking into account several meetings (Mucunski-Petrova Chamova, Siljanovska Davkova-Iotova, and Gashi-Dotsova) have been held over the past month.
“It is obvious that we have differing views and interpretations regarding the European integration issue and what our European obligations entail, and an appropriate mechanism should be found to resolve this problem”, Mucunski said on Wednesday.
The same day, regarding the note issue, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said it hadn’t distributed any diplomatic note or other official correspondence related to a visit to Bulgaria by family members of an official representative of another country.
