On social media on Tuesday, former Karposh Mayor Jakimovski made fierce accusations against VMRO-DPMNE, claiming that a terrace had been built as part of the party’s HQ in Centar without a construction permit and on state-owned land. He called for criminal accountability for what he described as an illegally constructed facility.
The facility was built when, as he said, VMRO-DPMNE staff served as Justice Ministers, Transport and Communications Ministers, state secretaries, and Urbanism Inspectorate heads.
However, VMRO-DPMNE said in response the criminal charges against him had been filed during SDSM’s time in power. In the press release, it also stated that Jakimovski, “a person on the U.S. blacklist”, still couldn’t come to terms with his election defeat in Karposh by Sotir Lukrovski.
