Asked about the espionage issue regarding President Siljanovska Davkova’s Cabinet, PM Mickoski has criticized those who reported the case. According to him, they are political rodents who presented themselves as anonymous employees and sent letters to the Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption.
The PM said he wouldn’t comment and people should forget the “sediment of society, structures from the past who were in cabinets like rodents of some politicians, Presidents, PMs, etc”.
Regarding the Office’s Chief, Islam Abazi, Mickoski said he was creating panic in the public that something was happening. The Office claims it initially had problems in the pre-investigation because the Cabinet did not submit the security camera footage, while they were then taken over by the Ministry.
The Office adds that it has been waiting for an answer from that institution for almost two months regarding the expertise of the seized computers, mobile phones, and digital E madheices. The Ministry, on the other hand, says that the expertise process is still being carried out, while official conversations have been held with Cabinet employees.
