A new hearing in the Kochani fire trial was held on Thursday. The process saw the presentation of evidence from the telephone devices of some of the defendants, including communications between them, such as exchanges of messages on Facebook, Viber, and Messenger. The defense reacted, pointing out that in some of the presented documents, the Pulse nightclub was not mentioned at all.
At the same time, one of the lawyers stated that the defendants were being dragged through the media and called derogatory names, while in one communication, as he noted, one of the defendants and one of the injured parties had discussed letting an underage daughter into Pulse, a piece of evidence which he requested to be presented once more.
The next hearing will be held on July 14.
