On Wednesday, Interior Minister Toshkovski survived the no-confidence motion filed against him by Levica. There were 58 votes against and 19 in favor. The debate was marked by fierce accusations.
Apasiev’s party pointed to cases such as the Kochani nightclub fire, in addition to alleging overstaffing and employments at the Interior Ministry on the basis of partisan affiliation, double standards, and conflict of interest.
However, the Minister described the motion as a way to score political points, adding that it was manipulative. Toshkovski talked about his results in multiple areas, including Safe City. He said citizen safety had improved thanks to the implementation of the traffic system.
