A young wolf was caught in Skopje’s Kozle area. The animal was caught by a veterinarian team after the local residents reported the strange, apparently starving “dog” that was seen around the houses.
After some initial confusion about the species, and the consultation with a family who had lost a Czech shepherd that looks like a wolf, it was finally determined that the animal is an actual wild wolf. It’s now cared for at the Skopje ZOO.
