Parties Continue to Trade Accusations over Gostivar Water Case

On Wednesday, SDSM again called on Klekovski to resign as Health Minister over the Gostivar water contamination case, stressing that health institutions had failed to protect public health. The party appealed for the resignation of Public Health Institute Director Marija Andonovska, Food and Veterinary Agency Director Oliver Milanov, and authorized individuals at the local centers for public health as well.

Nonetheless, VMRO-DPMNE again refuted the accusations, stressing that while SDSM, DUI, and Taravari hadn’t distanced themselves from Mayor Valbon Limani, the Government was showing and proving how things should be handled during a crisis. Levica, however, said the case was the consequence of longstanding partisanization.
