Following reports that world leaders at the NATO Summit in Ankara received personalized revolvers with live ammunition from Turkish President Erdogan, Siljanovska Davkova’s Cabinet confirmed she, too, had received such a gift. It is being transported to North Macedonia via diplomatic mail. Siljanovska Davkova will not use it, the Cabinet of North Macedonia’s President explains.
“The gift from President Erdogan was received through state protocol and will be brought to Skopje via diplomatic mail in accordance with standard procedures. The gift will be properly registered in the President’s Cabinet and will be handled in accordance with the Law on Weapons. President Siljanovska Davkova will not use it, nor will she have any contact with the gift”, the Cabinet explains.
