Public Debate on Bills on Court and Public Prosecutor’s Service Held

Parliament’s Political System and Intercommunity Relations Committee and the Ministry of Justice will take into account and reconsider proposals from representatives of trade unions, court administration associations, the public prosecutor’s office service, prosecutors, and other individuals who addressed Tuesday’s public debate regarding improvements to the bills concerning court and public prosecutor’s service.

The majority of participants in the event requested that the draft texts be returned to the working groups to be changed in order to ensure high-quality laws in line with the Reform Agenda. The two bills, along with all suggestions presented on Tuesday, will be presented in second reading before the members of the Committee.
