The cabinet reshuffle talks will start after the celebration of VMRO-DPMNE’s anniversary in Strumica on Wednesday, according to the ruling party’s leader, PM Mickoski. Commenting on the opposition’s accusations that he wants to hold early parliamentary elections because the government has spent the money from the Budget, he said on Sunday that though that was not his intention, if challenged, he would respond.
However, SDSM again said there were “two Mickoskis”, i.e., one who announced there would be a cabinet reshuffle and another who was already openly talking about early elections.
In the ethnic Albanian bloc, Ahmeti has announced he will possibly leave the position of DUI leader and join the ranks of party veterans. He presented that information at a party gathering in Zhelino, where it was also pointed out that the DUI had made changes to 83% of its leadership.
